1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ExpensePal ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you are agreeing to these Terms for that organization and representing that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

ExpensePal is a personal finance management platform that provide tools for expense tracking, AI-powered financial analysis, budget management, and financial reporting. We constantly evolve our Service, and features may be added, modified or removed without prior notice.

3. User Accounts & Security

To use most features of the Service, you must register for an account. You must provide accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs on your account, and you must keep your account password secure. You must notify us immediately of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds

Some parts of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Pro Plans"). You will be billed in advance on a recurring and periodic basis (monthly or annually).

  • Payments: Payments are processed through Google and Apple. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your provided payment method according to your selected plan.
  • Refunds: All fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you cancel your subscription, you will continue to have access to the Pro features until the end of your current billing period.
  • Cancellations: You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app settings or by contacting support.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ExpensePal and its licensors. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall ExpensePal, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Termination & Changes

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
